Xiaoping Motors: Xpeng G3 [Pricing, Tech, First Look]

Xpeng G3 is Deng Xiaoping’s response to Tesla. In China, his company is producing a somewhat-automated front-wheel-drive electric vehicle starting at $33.5k USD (only $20k after China’s Subsidies!).

The Xiaopeng G3 is equipped with 20 sensors: 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 high-definition cameras, and 3 millimeter-wave radars. It accurately identifies roads, vehicles, pedestrians, obstacles, etc., and feeds into an on-board neural network to provide automated assisted driving and full-scene automatic parking for Chinese road conditions “XPILOT 2.5-class automatic driving”
